This is one of my favorite art work by the artist Banksy. It speaks to the common belief that not addressing the 'elephant' in the room will make it go away. The 'elephant' symbolizes the unhealthy relationship, the excess use of alcohol and drugs to cope, the loneliness that exists in your relationship, or any difficult change you know you need to make in your life. However, the longer you take to address the issue the more it manifests into a bigger problem. Get help, seek support, and begin the journey to be who you want to be in your life and your relationship.

I work with individuals and couples dealing with struggles that have mounted into feelings that become overwhelming and lonely. Every problem feels monumental if you are dealing with it alone, but once you open yourself up to get help, then you are able to have a better prespective. I love problem solving with my clients to help them believe that change is possible, and they have what it takes to make it happen.

My practice is focused on helping couples who have experienced infidelity in their relationship, individuals who are in recovery or in a relationship with someone fighting addiction, blended families trying to find and maintain balance in their new life, and individuals who are struggling with low self esteem and history of codependency. The therapeutic process involves working with the 'whole' person from a non shaming, non judgmental place. Therapy involves uncovering beliefs and ideas that have existed for a long time, and therefore that process needs to be done in a safe, secure place where there is undoubted trust and comfort.

My approach is direct, interactive, and engaging. I provide my clients with real life solutions that they are able to implement in their everyday life. I believe therapy should ignite the curiosity that we all have about why we do what we do, and what guides our choices.
